The Chillin Villains provides vibes and singalong entertainment ranging from Sunday Session easy listening to late night pub jams with crowd engagement in solo acoustic format or duo, 3pce, full band depending on budget and event requirements. RJ handles vocals and acoustic as the solo act and teams up with a rotation of various mates on the scene to make up a duo ie: bass or drums or guitar, which also can expand out to 3pce and 4pce band as well. The Chillin Villains is always an acoustic driven sound centered around RJs Maton acoustic/LR Baggs dual system and Fishman amp sound as a pleasant engaging audio experience that puts out a positive vibe that gets people grooving and grinning.

Active since 2013 The Chillin Villains pre pandemic gigs have been: The Longroom, Misson on the Beach, DeFontein, Belgian Beer Pubs, Basalt Howick, Father Teds, The Fiddler, Grangers, The Franklin Taphouse, The Corner Bar Howick, Grand Central, Sponge Bar, Khuja Lounge, Degree Bar Viaduct, Good George Northern Wharf, Good George Mission Bay, Sunkist Bar Beachlands, Portland Public House, and a variety of corporate events, street community events, markets, birthdays, house parties, end of year gigs.
